Dennis Anthony Ferry

Dennis was Principal Trumpet of l'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Switzerland for thirty-one years, returning to the United States in 2009.

On baroque trumpet, Dennis performs regularly with Opera Lafayette (DC)and with the Washington Bach Consort.
Before leaving Geneva, he was principal trumpet of the baroque ensemble “Gli Angeli Genève”.
While living and working in Europe, Dennis performed and recorded with various baroque ensembles under the direction of Phillip Herreweghe (La Chappelle Royale), William Christie (Les Arts Florissants), Gustav Leonhardt, René Jacobs, and Andrew Parrott, among others. Dennis has also performed and recorded as principal trumpet of the Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra.
