Heather Kayan
Originally hailing from Connecticut, Heather Kayan studied at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, and in 2008, received her Bachelor's in Music Education/Masters of Arts in Teaching. She has sung under the direction of Donald Nally, Andrew Megill, James Jordan, Tom Whittemore, and Steven Sametz.
In addition to singing with The Thirteen, she also sings with The Crossing in Philadelphia, Trinity Episcopal Church in Princeton, NJ, Kinnara Ensemble, and The Princeton Singers. Choral highlights include performances with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), the baroque orchestra Quicksilver, and the PRISM Saxophone Quartet. As a soloist, Ms. Kayan has sung Vivaldi's Gloria, Handel's Messiah and Haydn's Paukenmesse. Her most recent performances have included singing at Westminster Abbey in the United Kingdom and at Big Ears Festival 2017 in Knoxville, TN.
