Brittany Salkill

Brittany Salkill is a teacher and performer on both modern and baroque flutes in the Metro-Atlanta area. She was introduced to period instruments while pursuing her undergraduate degree at Georgia Southern University. After quickly falling in love with the baroque flute, she purchased her own, and has been studying the instrument ever since. Brittany obtained her Master of Music degree from Middle Tennessee State University where she studied baroque flute with Dr. Jessica Dunnavant alongside her modern flute studies with Dr. Deanna Little. She completed separate degree recitals on both instruments and has gone on to perform with the Music City Baroque Orchestra and participate in various masterclasses. Brittany currently teaches a thriving flute studio and performs around the South East.
